Rochford District Council has made Byelaws under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 relating to: -

  • Acupuncture
  • Tattooing
  • Semi-permanent Skin Colouring

When an application is received, the premises are inspected by a Council Officer to ensure compliance with the byelaws.

All registered premises are inspected on a risk based, rolling programme.
