Thames Gateway South Essex- Leading a Low Carbon Economy
Project
Rochford
District Council is keen to hear from local businesses who want to
save money and help the environment.
The Council and other organisations are working to deliver the
Thames Gateway Leading a Low Carbon Economy Project (TGLLCE), which
aims to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint and make
efficiency savings.
Small and medium sized businesses (1 - 250 employees) will
receive a free energy audit which can be used to develop an
environmental action plan. The plan will outline ways in which
businesses can run in a more energy efficient manner and thus help
to save costs. The project also offers grant funding and other
financial support for businesses.
Rochford District Council is working with partners from Thurrock
Council, Essex County Council, Groundwork South Essex, Southend
Borough Council, Basildon District Council, Castle Point District
Council, Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation, Thurrock
Local Enterprise Agency and National Industrial Symbiosis Programme
on behalf of International Synergies Limited and is being funding
by the East of England European Regional Development Fund
(ERDF).
