Business Continuity
Business Continuity Management is about identifying those parts of
your business that you can't afford to lose - such as information,
stock, premises, staff - and planning how to maintain these if an
incident occurs.
Any incident, large or small, natural,
accidental or deliberate can cause major disruption to your
business. Planning now will help you to get back to business in the
quickest possible time.
Effective business continuity management
can:
- Reduce the chance of disruption
- Minimise the impact of a disruption
- Reduce financial losses
- Prevent loss of business
- Enhance reputation
- Build staff confidence
Rochford District Council is required to
promote Business Continuity Management by the Civil Contingencies
Act 2004. Although the Council is not in a position to write
your business continuity plan, we can give advice, the links and
documents below will help you write your plan.
